it's quiet, too quiet
the new issue #259 was said to ship in late September, now there's eff-book jabber about it just coming off the press and getting checked. incomprehensible. I wonder if my favorite local bookstore will ever get it.
I did find that many new books that are offered on the HM website as digital downloads also have free .pdf samples. better than nothing. the Llarena Divergent Dimensions appear to be mostly reprints.
I did get Kranburn #4 digital, I'll put up a review soon. I'm trying to buy the paper books but now they are sold via their effin-book and it's not cooperating yet. oh cruel fate.

I've been checking the site for updates and some digital downloads not enjoyed much Divergent Dimensions that are just reempressoes of stories from late editions of hm.
Such a sad state of existence.
I said it before (while the Forum was still alive, and they cancelled the "Special Issues") that by the looks of it they are headed for 4 issues/year.
Now, even that might be a wishful thinking.
Kevin, should make a public statement about the future of the Magazine, one way or the other.
It would be a great loss to see the Mag. gone, but IMO these delays are killing the interest. I saw Previews World cancelled the July 2012 issue, which ain't a surprise, to any fans anticipating the new issue, but the way it was cancelled is not promising. The reason for the cancellation is: Lateness. Some of the better options available are : Will Resolicit or Sold Out.
What worries me is the statement from the Stuff saying that the lateness is because they changed the Distributor.
Diamond has a monopoly, so if they are not distributing through diamond how will the Mag. end up in the Local Comic Shops?
The previous announcement that the Mag is going to be on the shelves on Friday didn't make any sense. Comics are sold on Wednesday's.
We can see the pages being checked on FB, and an info that the Mag is going to ship "this week" to subscribers, but I'm wondering what does that mean for the availability through LCS?
tick ... tick ... tick ...
is it going to be . . . BOOOOOM!!! . . . or Puff!??
